NEW ECO ZONE

At Portal de la Marina, we are aware of the importance of recycling for the planet. That’s why we have created a zone in our shopping center dedicated to recycling, our new Eco Zone.

The Eco Zone is a space located in the parking area of Portal de la Marina. It has several containers for different types of waste. Specifically, the materials that can be recycled are: batteries, ink cartridges and toners, paper and cardboard, lighting fixtures and small lamps, used oil, fluorescent tubes, plastic bottles, containers, and clothing.

Recycling benefits the environment and, therefore, all of society for many reasons: it reduces the need for landfills, saves energy, prevents pollution caused by the extraction and processing of raw materials, decreases greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change, conserves natural resources such as wood and water, and helps sustain the environment for future generations.

For all these reasons, our Eco Zone is essential, and its proper use depends on all citizens of Marina Alta. So, come to the center and use our Eco Zone to give your waste a second life and help the planet breathe.
